I used a long 3 millimeter drill bit and drilled from the controls cavity to the pickup routing, guestimating the angle and primarily going by eyeball.

The MM also sprouted from Leo's brain. ;)

I'm a metal machinist/engineer for a living, my woodworking skills are based on this experience and self taught.

Loosen the locking screw (the one that's at an angle in the saddle) move the saddle around until it's intonated properly and lock the screw again. Maybe you have to slacken the string you are working on a little bit but I can move the saddle with just a little bit of force while the string is...

The bridge on my Rockinbetter is identical, after some years without any problems it slowly started to tail lift up to about a millimeter. Just fixed it the old Ric way. I drilled and countersunk some holes in the tail end, put in some screws and gone was the lifting.

Acoustic.;) It sounds very nice but the acoustic volume will not keep up with other instruments.
