Hello, and thanks for any help. When I received my headless bass,( 1st time owner), I took some photos of the bridge and neck saddles, so I'd know how the ball ends were supposed to sit in the saddles. My bass arrived with the ball ends of the strings resting in the bridge saddles, looking like...

I have a Stealth 4 string Fretless. There's some light string wear on the fretboard from the round wound strings. Can I take some light grade sand paper to the Phenolic fretboard to get rid of them? What grit should I be looking for? Thanks for any help.

Not sure where to post this,or how to get there. I have a Stealth 4 String Fretless. I'm going to be changing the strings and cleaning the fret board (sparingly), with some WD 40 for the first time. I use double ball strings. Is there any procedure,or order for taking them off/ putting them on...
