you could also look into GHS Gorgomyte, i have used it on my old (now sold) MM Stingray, it cleaned it well and didnt seem to have any negative impact on it. Its a bit pricey but its probably an easier fix than sanding your fretboard and reapplying oil for a new finish etc. Read up on it first...

Personally I have mostly only heard good things about cali76 CB V1. Version 2 should be similar but with a character closer to the original cali 76 big box and also with improved metering over V1 coupled with higher internal voltage => better headroom. Overall a great choice!

This, sums up my approach exactly.

my band has 4 2x12 subs. If I set mine any lower than around 60 and play the B string it just takes over. Every now and again I need to go higher if the room demands it but still haven't found a reason to go lower.
