To all those interested just put a set of EB Extra Slinky Flats on my mexi deluxe. Love its sound now. Couldn't get "my tone" out of the stock fender strings. Added just the right amount of lower bass tone and doesn't sound as thin as it did before.. Still has tons of uppermids and clarity...
