My fender bassman is enterming protection mode after probably 15min. I think that the fan is faulty, That happened today after 2 hours on. Now it only last 15 min before protection mode. I dont hear the fan. Thats common?

Probably dead strings? Dead bass strings sound dull, muffled, or muddy, with a noticeable lack of sustain and a "thud" sound instead of a "clang" when plucked. They also may appear dull in color and lose their initial brightness.

I use a big leather strap and really worked for me. Last time I played 3 sets . Almost 30 songs and never feel the weight. But I also weigh 217lbs my body not will feel 7 or 8 pounds more.

I have two barts original quad pickups. I wired the split pickups switch and actually in quad mode the bass is extremely silent. But when I do the P split I get a noise that not is a lot but is there. I wonder if I did something bad or just is the normal operation.
