Yes. My rig matches. In the past I have varying combinations of cabs and amps, however when I bought this one, I just liked how it all matched. I don't believe that I will have to buy another and I'm happy with that. I have gotten rid of amp GAS. /cheers.

I saw the Fabluous Thunderbirds open for Bob Segar in the mid-late 80s. That was a great show. Bog gave a great concert, but I left a Thunderbirds fan as well. ~r~

I started with an Ashdown MAG series amp. I forget which model. I had it sitting on a cheap 2x10. I didn't like it. I traded it off after practicing with some friends about 5 times.

My current setup, which is an Ampeg V-4B with two matching 1x12 cabs. There is a lot of other GAS going on in my head, but not for a new bass amp. I don't ever think I'll need a different amp. If something happened to this one, I would get it fixed or replace with another same model.

No pics right now, but I have a Peavey T-20 that I got from a pawnshop 10 years ago that sounds really nice and I'm pretty sure you could get in a fight and use it as a weapon and it would stay in tune. I put flat wounds on it and it has a good thump, even though its a sub $500 value instrument.

I'm not a big GC fan, but I do enjoy being able to walk into a music store and check out newer guitar models, as the local GC is really the only guitar store in 20 miles of me. I've had some good interactions with the employees. But, as has been mentioned in the thread, the days of big box...

Eh, I don't think it means he is a bad person. I just think his relationship is in a bad position if he has to lie about purchases. Everyone goes through life differently and I cannot be the judge of another person, just give my opinion. Best wishes.

I am on the market for a short scale bass and would love to have one of these to match my SB-2, if it weren't for the colors and stripes available. I can just hope they will be available in the future with other color options.

It's getting harder and harder to find a guitar, bass or amp that I want to try out in my area within an hour drive. Most of the things I buy, I research online and then just order and hope for the best. All of the stores around me seem to just carry the low end stuff, with just a couple high...

I just got an advertisement from Fender with that model on it yesterday.

I go to the GC near me, mainly because one of the managers has treated me well. I don't really have any other options unless I want to drive an hour. I trade in things that are impossible to sell locally on Craigslist and get the extra 10% off a new purchase, which inevitably has to be ordered...
