^^^ heh I've got the same problem sometimes too. I'll get lazy then, floomp. I've been playing for about three years now, two 'self taught' which doesn't really count. And I can spin a pen with my right, but not with my left, so I'll try that. Thank yalls.

Well when you're playing do you find that sometimes one of your fingers you're not using, like ring or middle, will sometimes pop/hide under the fretboard or will stick out. I'm double jointed in my fingers and sometimes they lock...not coo'. It does affect speed and my teach is all like...

But why is the other bass working? But during my lesson today, the bass worked okay, but I noticed it had a considerably lower output than the other basses that were plugged in. I will get it checked at the store, I guess, but I got a lot of things to do...school... :scowl:

I just ran it through a guitar amp I have on-hand, it sounds ok...but it is a guitar amp... :hmm:

Can strings become so dead, that they can't produce much sound? I don't mean if they're horribly filthy, mine are pretty clean, but I didn't change them for over a year... ...do you think it's time for a string change? :p :rolleyes:

Alright, so I plug in my bass, and when I try to play, hardly any sound comes out! I don't know whether if it's a pickup or string problem... :bawl: I have to play later today...do you think somethings wrong with my pickups or are my strings so dead, they can't even produce hardly any sound...
