    Tiny Combos

I'd give this a look. I have one and it's really full sounding...surprisingly so. SB106 – Traynor Amps

    NAD: Traynor Small Block 112

Also take a look at the little SB106. For a "not loud" band, it may fit the bill perfectly. Mine has surprised me many times with it's ability to hang with louder instruments.

    Low wattage 6” bass speaker

Take a look at the Traynor SB106. Tiny package with a 6.5 inch speaker. Sounds amazing for it's size and can be gigged with an extension cab (200 watts)

Squier Eva Gardner P Bass - The Dissappearance

Thanks for the tip-off! I didn't realize CITES extended to used instruments. As for the ship decal, I can take it or leave it. It doesn't bother me.

Squier Eva Gardner P Bass - The Dissappearance

Good advice. I'm still kicking myself for not buying one new. They were very well priced. You're right, though. One will come along eventually.

Squier Eva Gardner P Bass - The Dissappearance

I think it was a case of underestimating how decent these basses are. There were a fair number of negative comments about them, if I recall, but mostly to do with the ship decal and the Jazz neck dimensions (from folks who prefer a P-bass neck width)

Squier Eva Gardner P Bass - The Dissappearance

I've been looking to buy one of these basses. I should have bought one when they were current but I waited too long and they got discontinued. I can't find one used for the life of me. Reverb...nada. EBay...zilch. I guess they didn't sell many of them. Either that or the people that bought...

Dearmond Guild Jetstar Bass - Tyrean purple

I saw one of these around 20 years ago in a local music store. I thought it was cool (I've always been drawn to unusual looking instruments) Back then, I was a guitar player so I didn't buy it but when I started play bass more seriously about 10 years ago, I tried to find one of those...

NBD: Ibanez SR Mezzo 32" scale - review

Good to know. I'd be putting flats on it anyway. I'd have to go for the orange...my favorite color.

NBD: Ibanez SR Mezzo 32" scale - review

Thinking of picking one of these up. Many have mentioned that they sound bright/thin in stock form. Possibly the maple board is partly to blame....

    Ibanez Mezzo Upgrade Path

Thinking of picking one of these up. Many have mentioned that they sound bright/thin in stock form. Might part of that be due to the maple board?

Replacement Tuners For Gretsch Junior Jet

I have a Gretsch G2224 Electromatic Junior Jet II that I love but the weak spot is the tuners. Has anyone swapped out the tuners on this bass for better ones? What options are out there?

    The Combo Club

Thanks and sure, let's have a number! The little Traynor is surprisingly loud and giggable. A friend of mine, who is a semi professional player with world class chops borrowed it a few months ago and is now going to buy one for his home studio. He was blown away by the little thing. I'm...
