Hi all just had a thought about controlling the sound on stage any maybe reducing overtones and feedback. Has anyone tired or have any thoughts on using a double bass mute on a highly resonant bass in my case fully carved. I wonder it might work similar to using foam on an electric bass?

to complicate the issue im thinking of making up a pedalboard comprising a tuner,compressor and a drive pedal.

For instance could you say use a shadow rockabilly setup for the piezo and the clicky and then have a separate preamp for the magnetic?

So i recenty purchased a Krivo, i had one of the original ones but lost it somewhere (did not really use it at that stage) however with my carved bass piezo pups were just not working i have an underwood and a bassmax and not much good with either too much thump no definition feedback etc etc...
