    I haven't tried specifically to recreate the sound of a PS-3 but I think the chorus effects on it are very good! I prefer it to the EHX clone A LOT!

    Clipping problem with Zoom B3

    Sounds like its the Zoom clipping and not your amp. Does it still do it if you turn the volume down on the bass itself? And does pressing the passive/active button make a difference?

    I actually found the octaver tracked quite well compared to other units i've tried. Doesn't beat a Boss, EBS, or Markbass unit though!

    Question about tone

    As above. Hands. Before I knew anything about overdrive and aggressive tones I was achieving them on my passive basses by using a sharper attack with my fingers.

    Basslines phase II cheap enough are they maybe imports?

    I have these pickups in my 6 string, with no preamp... And they sound great! Somewhere between the sound of bartolinis and EMGs I suppose! Definitely worth a shot at that price :)

    What didn't you like about the B3 dude? Was it everything? Or just a few of the effects?
