Mines a ‘97 and I’m not getting any hissing (knock on wood). If you do decide to take it apart, I’d be happy to send over the schematics I used to bring mine back to life after it wasn’t working for a few months in someone’s garage. thanks!

Hey Sean! I just brought a late 90s 800rb back to life, however I notice I’m having the same tightness/stiffness as well in the pots. The boost pot cuts out at like 2 o clock position for some reason. Would a cleaning work? I know you said you did but it wasn’t any use. What did you end up doing...
