For a reference, i think you should look the specs of the FaitalPRO 15pr400. That -for me- is a good example of a great speaker(among the best?), without taking count of anything else(cab, amp, power, bass, style, and so on...).

I've used it for recording and practicing in my early stages...now it's only a few days before recording. It's great for learning excercises and practice sessions. I never used it for rehearsal in a band situation.

Whatever is cheapest, but it's almost impossible to find one cheaper new...so mostly used(mint or in great shape). Only bought my tuner new, now that i remember.
