Stingray players, how do you EQ?

No, it’s always been cut and boost - even the original pre EB hang tag manual refers to it - on my 2 bands I tend to boost the bass fully and the treble almost fully - if I want to get the mids to boost more I pull the tone controls back towards centre. I sometimes boost the upper mids on the amp a little.
On 3 band instruments I tend to start with the bass and treble boosted very marginally and the mid cut significantly - adjusting the mids dependent on room acoustics and requirements of the song/ areas in which the keyboards and guitars play. For the two pick up versions, I boost the mids slightly when using any of the switch settings other than single humbucker, and usually have the bass on centre.
The Stingray Special has a differently voiced pre amp and more headroom (18 volt pre amp) - the mid range is significantly different and there is far more bass boost available. I tend to start with everything at centre on these.
ON my 3 band 4 string Stingray I set everything flat (center detent) then maybe cut treble slightly. On occasion boost bass slightly depending on the song. On my Classic 5 string with a two band EQ, I guess I dont really know since there is no center. I probably roll them both up about 60% so probably a slight boost to both bass and treble

On my GK 112 combo: boost mid bass to 3 o’clock. Boost bass to 1 o’clock. Mid treble stays at 12 o’clock. Treble at 11 o’clock.

It depends entirely on what I'm playing, but I always start flat and do my basic EQ from my amp and preamp pedal.
I have a Ray34CA with the old-style 2-band EQ and no detentes. I installed Jazz Bass knobs so I can see the position (I do this on P Basses, too). I always start with bass and treble at 50% and adjust from there to the room. Often that means backing both off a smidge. When an occasional hip-hop song comes up in the set list, I crank the bass.
Ray 5 sub series HH, 2-band, Cobalt flats. It's new to me, but I've been keeping my bass and treble centered, and select front/both/bridge pickups depending on the song (variety covers). I've been using a SS head into a MarkBass 2x15, and I get the sound I need. With one guitar and keyboards (no left hand), I need my notes to ring out kinda clear. 
Same. Kind of shocked to hear that people are cranking that bass control, since it is so robust. That said, I'm going to go try it now...
About 3/4 treble boost, slight Mid cut, slight bass boost. Best recorded tone has been everything flat....
I have a SR5 3 band H with ceramic pup. For classic r&r I set them flat with the pup set to series. Slow stuff I set the pup to single and bump the bass and I slap with the pup set to parallel and the tone flat.
Bass is set for the room but is typically at least 80% on. Mids are right around center depending on the mix, and treble goes up or down depending on the needs of the song.
StingRay5 Special .......mids cut back 75%. Treble 10% boost, bass 25% boost. amp eq flat. cut and boost everything from the bass.
Short Scale StingRay..... mids flat, bass and treble boost 25% on the amp. push /pull boost on bass eq engaged, tone knob varies ( I use the full range) .

Stock SR5 H. Usually Bass and Mid flat; Treble anywhere from flat down to zero (complete cut) depending on the song, but most commonly about a 25% cut.
I vary the tone by moving my plucking hand closer to or further from the bridge.
Occasionally I slightly boost the Bass. I've never wanted to boost the Treble.

Wow i think i need to try not to boost so much on my Ray34, and thats coming from a L2000 lover

Like others, I use very little EQ boost. If I turn anything up, I can hear the preamp starting to compress the sound. If you figure out how much power it takes to EQ, especially at low frequencies, it’s not surprising.
