Isn't the Treble on the Classic 2 band boost only? In which case you're not cutting it, just boosting it gently?
Slight bass boost. Slight.Just curious. It seems a fair amount of high profile players boost a lot of or even max out the bass on the preamp which seems a little extreme to me. Since I’m sort of new to this bass design I’m curious how people use the eq.
Same. Kind of shocked to hear that people are cranking that bass control, since it is so robust. That said, I'm going to go try it now...On my SR5 3-band, I leave all onboard preamp controls in their flat/center detent position and do any EQing at my amp....
