Wasn't ebony covered by CITES, even before Rosewood was added? (Not my area of expertise. @Dadagoboi ???????) I suspect maple or pau ferro are the only "sane" options for FB to completely avoid the CITES brouhaha.

That's one of the issues I have with tort. If you've seen the real stuff, by which I mean, "old" tort from the nitro days, rather than what passes for tort these days, "acrylic salami"..... You can take the shine off it, but it still looks like a cheap Chinese rip-off of the real thing.

I like the grain. How does Cypress compare, with regards to weight, to the more usual suspects? ie. mahogany, ash, alder..... And heading into the realms of off-topic.... If I wanted to order from you, are you able to do what would need to be done with regard to CITES, for me to import it into...
