Just be careful, especially if you use a bolt extractor, as they can make a big mess. Many woodworkers and mechanics won't even try one. (Reason being, if you snap the extractor in the hole, it's hardened steel, and you'll have trouble drilling that.) The end goal is to leave a hole behind that...
