Albums that you consider "perfect"...

For me, The album(s) I would consider "perfect" is a three way tie between Yes' Close to The Edge and Relayer along with The Who's second Rock Opera Quadrophenia.

These three albums offer the widest spectrum of emotions I've ever heard in Rock Music. Period. :)

And they sound awesome too.

Paul Simon - Graceland
Peter Gabrial - So
The Who - Tommy
Jethro Tull - Thick as a Brick
Humble Pie - Rockin the Filmore (amazing Bass recording for the time)
Allman Bros - Live at the Filmore East (another amazing live recording for the time)
Beatles - Sgt. Pepper's
Beatles - Abby Road
Hendrix - Axis Bold as Love
Hendrix - Electric Ladyland
Queen - A Night at the Opera
Frank Zappa - Joe's Garage (Acts I, II & III)
Frank Zappa - Apostrophe

To name a few...

This is all I can scrape up for now:

Scrape up? Sorry, if it's "scraped up" it ain't perfect. I think I'd need to consider my answer a week before I could choose just one. I have hundreds of CDs/albums that I go overtly bananas for (including lots that are mentioned in this thread; my friends wanna commit me to the funny farm for noisily going off on them about this CD or that CD) but "perfect" is a considerable step beyond that. I don't know if I could do it.

Oh, sorry, I didn't intent to slam you :D (please don't hate me :bawl:)...but as I said, "perfect" is a rare item indeed.

Play on...:bassist:
