check out Jean's slapping on the ol' 11 string. Does anybody know the spacing on his 11 string?

I doubt anybody who isn't in a studio with Rick Rubin can exactly reproduce the "sir psycho sexy" filter sound, it is a blend of a dying battery Mutron, full battery Mutron, clean signal, and a slight overdriven track, all together at once. Live, Flea uses the Q-tron, but I dont think it sounds...

At the start of "the patient", I guess he is using his Foxx wah?

In "the patient" he uses a guyatone br2 filter pedal, he hasent used the mxr on any recordings, although its on his main board, i think its just a "fun" pedal :)

Theres some footage of him playing an ibanez SoundGear 5 string, (SR505 i think) but his main bass is a "Mike Kinas" custom 5 string with Bartolini humbucker and single coil Pickups, i think he uses Ampeg cabs, 2 4X12's, I'm sure he uses some sort of line 6 device in his rack, and a BBE sonic...

thanks for the reply, I'm a bit of a newbie with all the technical stuff, is the bypass switch internal device on the circuit board? or is it the other side? I've taken the back off and exposed the board, and cant seem to get to the other side of it. P.S thanks for the help :)

I got a DOD fx25b second hand, and it has a problem. When its on, it works fine and sounds great, but when I turn it off, the signal from my bass just disappears, and slowly goes back to its orignal volume after about 30 seconds. I power it with a 9v DC power supply, so its not the battery, has...

I saw this and was amazed at the price, but i was wondering, is it just another piece of crap? I'm really into Tool at the moment and want to be able to pitch shift like Justin Chancellor, anyway I'm rambling. What are everyones thoughts in this? :confused:
