Yes, that's true but I think Jimmy meant he keeps it at 800 for when he boosts the mids to cut through.

I like the mid freq at position 4 and up around 3 o'clock, Ultra low on, bass at about 11 and treble around noon. But I'm still fairly new to this amp and still experimenting. I play it though a PF410HLF or a PF115HE but not at the same time so please don't jump all over me for mixing cabs ;)
