The peak on my SVT-4PRO randomly cuts on and off causing it mute on and off however when I use a mute/graphic equalizer foot switch it works just fine. Any ideas on what could be wrong with the amp so I do not have to use a foot switch?

Thanks I'll buy a new pedal. But the only reason why I use this pedal is because the amp works fine when I use it. But when I don't use the pedal my amp mutes on and off randomly. Does anyone know the possible reasons why my amp is muting on and off?

I just got a ampeg svt4pro and I am looking for a good cab. I was thinking about getting an ampeg 810 but I may not need a cab that large for every gig. So I was thinking about getting two ampeg 410hlf so I can use both when ever I need a louder sound. Any sugestions?
