    What's your "Beater" bass?

i bought a cheap "c giant" p bass for 20 € just as an emergency-backup-bass and it looks like the previous owner wanted to beat it up so it looks like a real rock'n'roll mojo bass. poly is cracked on several spots, which reveals the cheap plywood-body. lots of deep dents, even at the neck. BUT...

Can't sleep...found this on youtube (hint: they are called Elephant Gym)

i'll throw some more in: orions belte - easy dream poppy stuff from norway the mattson 2 - guitarist plays bass with looper and/or octaver, but more focus on guitar and more of a dream pop vibe bink beats - multi instrumental electronic craziness with looping skills bbng (bad bad not...

    Fender Rumble Club

Yes, BUT the baked-in tone (rolled off mids and highs) remains! You will not get the neutral poweramp sound, because the cab simulation sits behind the fx return.

nice, did you try to daisychain it before?if so, did it deliver 'more' or was it barely noticable? i'm thinking of getting a rumble 100 for home practice and for adding a 'topping' to my 2x112 stack for closer-to-ear experience.

    Fender Rumble Club

in case somebody is interested: last night i compared the eq frequencies of the v2 and the v3 because i wanted to know how more about what the cab sim does and how they are voiced. i took some screenshots for comparison but did not have time to compare them. ...but here are my first impressions...

    Fender Rumble Club

i personally dont like the od on the v3 rumbles. lows and highs are cut. this makes it unusable for switchting during a song, because the overall sound dramatically changes. the v2 is much more versatile because of the blend pot. you can just add some background"dirt" to the clean tone without...

tiny little story about rumble 350 head vs ampeg pf500 with my two 112 cabs: while the ampeg looks good and has a wider variety of tone options (-25db treble cut with the knob for example), a blendable fx (thats why i wanted to try it!) and a very nice breakup when overdriven...here are the...

    Light touch vs. Compression

i mainly use my compressor to get the timbre of anything between a mellow (light touch), agressive clicking (hard touch) , and barking sound (hard touch near the bridge) and many more....so MORE DYNAMICS and VARIATION....WITHOUT the big volume differences these string-hitting-styles provide...

    Fender Rumble Club

i had the 100 and used it at jams with metal drummers...100% was not that much louder than noon because the limiter kicks in at the peaks. i used my 200h at 90%. the peaks when you dig in hard are not that much louder than at noon, but the overall volume is higher, super compressed...but also...

    Fender Rumble Club

just wanna share my rumble experience of today... i thought about selling my 500c because i have two v3 112s and a rumble 350 head which i love, especially the overdrive is very versatile. the v3 overdrive cuts too many sub frequencies for my taste and without the blend of the v2 this is just...

New Stanley Clarke Fender Stratocaster bass

ok. but!.... the longer a string is behind the nut or bridge, the more the flexibility of the string affects the pitch. if you are bending a string or fretting too hard, the pitch will be more sharp with a short nut-to-tuning peg and/or bridgesaddle-to-ballend. the longer the mentioned distances...

ok, you own a 350 head, right? so do you know what the cabsim really does or can you tell me about the difference in sound between the v3 and v2 XLR out?
