Fender Rumble Club

I believe you got your answer but...

YES! Bring the thunder! :bassist:
View attachment 3800970

I bring the thunder every rehearsal because I have to. The band I'm in plays LOUD. But this setup (along with my Tech 21 VT Bass Deluxe) handles it, no sweat

This is an old pic. I have the 115 sitting on top now.

Rumble 25 is very good for home practice. If you have a stage and rehearsal rig already the R25 is all you need. I have one. As a side note, I just put in a new wifi extender to jump the signal to another house on my property and have to practice in a little entryway hallway to get a good signal for YouTube videos. The acoustics in the hallway must be very favorable because the R25 really sounds fat and deep.

In the market for a small practice amp and was looking at Rumble 25 and the R40. What are your thoughts?
The 25 is a good and reasonably priced practice amp. Given the choice, though, I’d spring for the 40. With the 40 you get into the Rumble series proper, with the same preamp as the rest of the range, a 10" driver and 15 extra watts, plus very light weight.

Wow! Jino! I'm ... I'm ... uh, ... just speechless! @Jinobass1, you are now member #1213 in the Fender Rumble Club. Uh, ... I mean, ... like, is that you in the photos? Are you an advertising model and a musician? That's quite a Fender family there, too. A P-bass, 3 J-basses a Bassman 500 w/410 Neo, a Rumble 800 HD and , do I spy with my little eye, a Rumble Stage 800 for a stool?!?

Jino, please tell us about all this. Nosy ..., I mean, uh, ... enquiring minds want to know. And, as always, please do . . . .

The studio 40 would be the better option but I am trying to stay under $200.00 since I recently purchased (3 months ago) the Rumble 800 head, R 4x10 cab. Also Fender Aerodyne Jazz Bass & Fender PJ Mustang within the last year. I'm in an all Fender addiction
I’d opt for a used or open-box 100... or the 40. The 25 is plenty for acoustic practice though. The 100 is feather-light, giggable, and has a similar footprint, so I see more flexibility with it.

I’ve owned the V3 100 combo, the v3 200 head and twice owned the Rumble 410 cabs.I currently have the Rumble 800 head and LOVE IT! The Rumble cabs in my opinion are junk.my 410 cant handle the 800 and I haven’t gone past 7-8 o’clock on the volume. I bought a Bassman neo 115 then upgraded to a new 610 and I never had a better rig. I used to only use Ampeg but the Ampeg quality went down hill and it’s also old technology.I could never get my tone with Ampeg. The Rumble 800 is NO JOKE. I GET AMPEG ENTHUSIAST who laugh at me and call it a children’s toy but They have no idea.

Happy Fender um, uh, ... Thursday?

It's a real honor to have you with us, Jino. Got any special Fender tips to share? :smug:

Jino, you might want to join the TalkBass Fender Bassman Club, too.

descender, you ain't kiddin' the Rumble 800 HD is no joke! It's a bona fide professional head.

Man, you should join the TalkBass Fender Bassman Club, with those cabs. I'd love to see a pic of your Rumble 800 with the Bassman 610 & 115, though I'd really rather hear it! Awesome!

Both of you, gentlemen, should . . . .

BE The Bassman and Rumble On!

You can add me to the club. I'm a new TB member. I have a Rumble V3 500 combo.

Actually, I have a question for you all which is what drove me to TB in the first place. I've been gigging recently as a rhythm guitarist but am switching back to bass. It's been 20 years since I gigged as a bassist. I got the Rumble 500 combo on a whim, but now I've got a band interested in me and I'm worried it's not going to be enough. It's a 4-piece country/rock band. They have a PA, and the Rumble has the line out. They mostly play bars but the singer told me he wants to play more festivals. I realize that might not be enough info for anyone to offer a full informed opinion. Do you think I'll have enough to cover me? Alternative is to get a 500 head with 410 cab either in Rumble or Bassman (though since Im married, I really like the headphone jack on the Rumbles)... don't want to dish out cash if I don't have to. When I was playing guitar, I used a small Fender Mustang 112, which was fine mic'd. I'm just not sure if bass direct to PA works the same. Thoughts? and thank you!

Sorry we missed you back in 2017, griggsy! :( We'll try to make up for it.
.
Sorry but I had to brag!!! I used to have a Rumble 500 but now have a Rumble Stage 800. I missed the silver grill cloth. Found a guy who custom made a replacement grill, with silver and the chromed Fender logo. Love my Stage 800 even more now!!

Sorry for grabbing your "brag" from your Upgraded grill on my Rumble Stage 800! thread to paste here. But that's just too cool a mod to let pass. Plus, as evidenced above, we owe you a membership number. @dcgriggs79 you are now member #1214 in the Fender Rumble Club. Congratulations and welcome. Again, apologies for missing your application all those years ago.

Doesn't look like you're laying the Stage on its side like you did the R500c. Do you still have the 210 extension cab? If so, will you stack them vertically, horizontally or side-by-side? Nosy, ... yh, that is, um, ... enquiring minds wanna know. :smug: But whatever else you do, please remember to . . . .

Rumble On!
