its a crate bt 25, has 10" speaker

I am not sure if this post should go under parts or amps so i appolgise ahead if it goes in the parts section. Anyways i resently blew the speaker in my 25w crate and looking to replace the speaker. the spec sheet says the original speaker peaks at 30w and i don't know what i should look for...

Hey thanks mikey, so it sounds to me like i am jsut going to have to make a choice and go with it. the pick up i am going with is EMG 40TW and it says that 3.125 is max recomended string spacing, so is that what i should aim for is some where around that spacing?

i don't know what skunk or non-skunk means >.< but the truss ron adjustment is at the head stock end of the neck

i have two bass one bc rich with active and a dean with passive. there is a deffinet difference in tone my dean has more of a dull tone to it. i know the basic difference between passive and active is that active is battery powered. can anyone explain the difference more in depth for me please?
