I guess if you were buying a hsc, it would have to be protected from abrasion (ie an outer box). A lot of bass deals are "I'll ship it in whatever I have lying around [that is safe]" So the hsc is usually a buy-product rather than the item. Usually, hsc are really tough materials that won't...
