I never had any problems using mail, and they always got back far quicker than I expected.

Also, the tuning frequencies are also slightly adjusted, so you would need a tuner with BF tunings to utilise it as intended. Whether or not you think it makes any difference whatsoever is another question.

Here's mine. Marilyn, Alder, (Audi) redwood top w maple/ebony neck. Massive bottom end, i dial the bass down quite a bit. I guess it sounds quite traditional especially turning the treble right down.

I don't imagine getting a bridge with narrower spacing would cost any extra if you were happy to get standard neck dimensions. Maybe would be an upcharge to get the neck narrower as well.

Incidentally, and i think it's been said before, you really need to experiment with the pre to get the best out of these basses. Don't be afraid to massively boost or cut the eq to find what works. Its ok to stray away from the centre detents on the pots :D

I have one which the previous owner attempted to get as close to a US MTD as possible. Playability and sound wise, its spot on and gets very close. No idea what they sounded like stock, but a great bass irrespective of cost.

Perhaps worth noting that Alex, the founder/owner and designer of Barefaced cabs used Acme B2's prior to his own designs. I have used a B2 and currently have 2 B1 cabs, bedroom practice only at the moment. I love the natural sound of them, and i loved the low B through the B2 when i was gigging...
