I'm not sure about the 1540, but every other Ampeg cab that I have looked at has a "Light Bulb" type fuse in the crossover. Pop out your 15'' speaker and have a look. I couldn't agree more. The Big Block is a great rig, however the SVT-4Pro is no slouch ether. I am of the assumption that it is "cool" to dog Ampeg :scowl:. If you pair a 4Pro up with the Pro cabs, the result is a great "Colorful" live sound. I have a Pr-410H, and a Pr-15H, and they will shake...

Yes you can Biamp your SVT-4 Pro, with your SVT 1540. First make sure the button on the back is set to stereo, and NOT Mono-Bridge. Then all you do is run a patch cable(Shelded Instument Cable) from the Biamp Low Output into the Power Amp A Input. Then run a Patch from the Biamp High Output...

I Currently use a Svt4 pro, a Svt410HE, and a Svt115E. Sweet Rig...I use it Bi-amped. I used to have a V-4hb(should have never got rid of it), a B-3h Head, and a Svt 350H. GOOD STUFF
