Exquisite Bass. How are they compared to Glarry Bass ?

I will make a disclaimer. I am happy with my Glarry purchase, knowing full well the risks involved in buying a $70 bass. I knew ahead of time that IF there were issues I was confident enough I could fix them or accept the issues. For the money, IF you are willing to make any last minute...

Exquisite Bass. How are they compared to Glarry Bass ?

Quality control is low for Glarry. I had to glue the pickups back into their plastic holders. I posted about it on the "$67 Glarry P-Bass...." thread. https://www.talkbass.com/attachments/20190610_170721-jpg.3447520/

Exquisite Bass. How are they compared to Glarry Bass ?

I don't have a J Bass, but other users here say the J bass has a thicker sound than the P bass. I did order a Glarry P Bass for a friend and played it for about a week before I gifted it over.

Exquisite Bass. How are they compared to Glarry Bass ?

FYI: The Glarry Jazz Bass has the exact same thick baseball neck they put on their P Bass. So if you are expecting a traditional thin neck and think nut width of the usual Jazz Bass, you are not getting that.

The following links are what I perceive to be the exact same bass, simply sold by different companies. This is pricing from ordering in USA. FYI Glarry just recently raised their prices. If these are in fact the same basses, be a smart consumer. Glarry ( Glarry GP Electric Bass Guitar White...

    $67 Glarry P-Bass

I'm pretty darn sure those are the exact same basses. If anyone is willing to purchase one to find out , let us know if they are the same. Might want to let Glarry know they need to be competitive with their price if that is the case. This eBay page also sells actual Glarry instruments...

    $67 Glarry P-Bass

Their basses are now $79.99, currently running what seems to be a usual 6% off "sale", with the price currently at $74.99. That's about a $10 increase in 6 months. The more popular they get, the higher the price will rise, so should we purchase now while the going is good?

    Grooviest Paul McCartney bass lines?

Not groovy in the sense you are probably intending, but I find 'Something' as one of the best Beatles bass lines:

    $67 Glarry P-Bass

Here is the pickup when it arrived. When I took it apart I could see that the previous glue holding to the black plastic had dried up or something. Just put a small spot of glue on each side and fixed that. Sorry for blurry pic of whole bass. Third pic is back so you can see type of wood grain.

    $67 Glarry P-Bass

I received my Burlywood bass that I am gifting to a friend. The box came perfectly fine with no damage. The only issues with the bass itself were the pickups were not sitting glued into the black plastic chassis, so you couldn't see the metal cylinders poking through the plastic holes. If you...

For sure. He adds great melodic runs and also he has great little fills that are highlights of the song. Here are highlighted bass parts of Stone Temple Pilots songs I enjoy: Bridge to 'Sin': Bridge Fill to 'Big Empty': Fill in 'Creep': The verse groove in 'Transmissions from a Lonely...
