Not sure exactly, it's music man style and alnico I believe. Really hot lows and mids. Should i mount it in the bridge position, i was thinking of finding a sweet spot where a "p" pup would be traditionally but im undecided.
I have 5 J-bass pups, 1 p-bass pup, and 1 seymour duncan bass lines pup. I don't need to use all the pick up but cool configurations and ideas would be awesome. It's going to a cort style body i made. thanks

So I've got a custom cort style body and about 5 jazz bass pickups, 1 p-bass pickups and one seymour duncan bass lines pup. Any ideas for combinations or anything!
I unwired the neck pick up and placed it in the bridge slot and noticed that the bridge pick up wont fit in the neck slot. The neck pick up also sounded fatter when in the bridge slot. Is this because only one pick up is being powered?
I' just got some new LJ Emgs for my yamaha bb404f and wanted to know if i could switch the wires around for a 2 tone 1 volume instead of 2 volume 1 tone??
any advice or other cool wiring would be appreciated,
thanks!
I'm trying to remove a seymour duncan bass line pick up(mmstyle) and i cant seem to figure out how to get the push/pull knob off I've removed the set screw and it still wont budge. Help.
thanks
The pickup I'm using is a seymour duncan basslines and it has an active pre amp with adjustable lows and mids I believe. I'll have to pay around with that.
