Funky Pickups?

Hey just looking for some advice, what do you think the funkiest pickups are and why? Jazz pickups, emgs, precision, p and j, bartolini etc.

surprisingly, Rickenbacker bridge.

When i was 14, I carved out a Jack and Danny (jazz bass copy) and fitted two Rickenbacker pickups in it. I managed to solder something wrong (fixed it later) and only got volume from the bridge. It sounded like a heavy Steinberger
