Ok, I'm new at playing bass and picked up a MIM Fender Deluxe Active Jazz Bass. I really like it, but I would like to upgrade the PUPS and Bridge at some point. What would you guys recommend? Thanks. -Donte

I ended up going with So far I'm really happy with it. Once when I learn how to play I may bump it up to something better, but for now it works great. Thanks everyone for their advice.

Ok so I just bought a new bass and now I need a practice amp. I don't need anything nice just something I can use to hear my bass. I don't have a lot of money so the cheap the price the better. Thanks for any help or input.

I didn't get it from GC, I bought it from Craig’s list. It wasn't brand new in literal terms, but the guy said he bought it and played it like 3 times then it sat in the gig bag. It still had some of the plastic on it when I got it. It doesn’t have a single scratch or even a finger print on it.

I wouldn't mind learning, but I think the first set up should be done right. That way I have a good baseline to start with.

Thanks evryone for you advice. I really appreciate it. I do have another question though. Should I pay the $50 and have Guitar Center to a proper setup on it.
