Wow My DI 2112 just arrived and it has the mix / drive out As I live in Brazil and bought it from a local seller I believe that "newest revision" was launched some time ago.

The GED 2112 does not have a "tight" function. Would that be the problem? The best tones for me was using the "tight".

I think you got it wrong It is not about the jumper that combines the channels. He mentions that it is possible to turn the mute button into bypass mode
