I find the more and more I play my fretless the less and less I like my fretted. I am turning into almost 100% fretless player. Although to be fair most of my playing is in my colleges Jazz band so it fits better for me.

See i have a Squier Vm Fretted and i love it. It sounds better than some other basses i have that costs 3x as much. The squier vm fretless is the the only fretless I've played so I don't know what the other options are like

My acoustic combo has been bullet proof. When i was looking for amps i looked at this a lot. Its only like 140 watts at 8 ohms or something like that. So you will have to have another cab to get it to the 200 watts. I ended finding a sweet deal on an Epifani head i liked.

Well for a practice amp you are really going to have to determine what exactly you're going to want out of it. As in if you will be playing with others. etc. As far as basses i would personally suggest a VM squier. I have a VM Jazz and i love it. I have a couple other basses that cost 3 times...
