    2 year build time. I think I need one …. Thanks for the info gang. A few weeks ago I posted about switching my emg pickups for the darkglass pre. Turns out just switching from nickel to stainless steel strings fixed my issue. Anyways, have a good weekend folks

    Can anybody tell me the difference between the afterburner and the abz? I’m pretty much hooked on my combustion and thinking about going custom. Active pickups is a must. Thanks in advance bass gods

    Just changed to stainless steel strings on my combustion and it sounds soooo good now. I didn’t think different type of stings would change things so much.

    I actually just received my darkglass tone capsule and now I have to figure out how to install it. I am very excited to make the switch. I usually play with lots of attack so I think it will be a good fit. I will keep you posted

    Hi guys and gals, is there a large difference between the dark glass tone capsule and the Emg pre in the combustion? Will it make a big difference? Thanks again in advance .

    I do not use a compressor. Every once and a while I put it through my c4 synth pedal and that’s about it.

    Maybe I was wrong by saying kick. I think I meant more texture, if that makes sense. Maybe grit would describe it better… It is by far the best built bass I have, I’m excited to make it a monster
