    MarkBass LM 800

The big difference between the LMIII and the LM800 is that the LM800 uses a digital power amp, whereas the LMIII has an analog power amp. I don't know the technical details behind why the analog one sounds better, but I tried both out, and the analog amp just has a warmer sound. Very honestly...

    Markbass CMD 102P question?

No, you would connect your speaker cabinet to your speaker out. You would need to get an 8ohm cabinet, seeing as the amplifier part of the combo runs at 8 or 4 ohms and the speakers already connected are 8 ohms. 8 ohm cab + 8 ohm cab = 4 ohm load.

    Markbass Littlemark rocker - Speculation/intrigue

Yeah I tried it again, with the 'Ray. Still not my style. Sten, what I meant was that the drive knob gives more of a "fuzz" effect than a "grind/overdrive" which is what I was looking for. So in the end, I'm getting a LMIII (non-tube version) and the 4ohm rear-ported 4x10". Combined with my...

    Markbass Littlemark rocker - Speculation/intrigue

I tried one out yesterday... I'm gonna go by again with my Stingray just to be sure, but I wasn't a fan of the drive. It was too fuzzy, not overdrive-y enough. I think I'm gonna pick up a Littlemark III and stick with my Sans Amp.

How to run two, 4 ohm cabs with a 4 ohm (max) head

Why not just get two 8 ohm cabs? It's not hard to find 8 ohm 210s!

    markbass little mark tube 800

The easiest way would be to get in touch with the manufacturer. It might be in the user manual, which is unfortunately not available on their site.

    markbass little mark tube 800

No. Unless the cabs daisy-chain in series, which would be very unusual. Generally, it is a parallel connection, which works the same as connecting two cabs with separate output jacks.

Hardwired tube? What happens when the tube is burned out?

    Markbass Littlemark rocker - Speculation/intrigue

Peter Murray, if you are around, maybe you can shine some light on a question I have. Will the Rocker 500 have the same distortion sound as the Distorsore? I listened to the demo you posted on youtube of the Distorsore (linked below), and the sound around 4 minutes in on it sounds a lot...

    Ampeg SVT2Pro + Eden 210XLT

Yeah, that I know. I've got a 1980's Ampeg 8x10 cab, but that thing's heavy as hell! Considering I end up getting DI'd just about everywhere I go, I want to downsize the speaker cab. I just wanna make sure I'm not going to blow up the cab. Given that it's rated at 350watts, in THEORY I...

    Ampeg SVT2Pro + Eden 210XLT

Does this sound like a bad idea to you guys? The head is rated at 300 Watts at 4ohms, and the cab is rated at 350watts. I've looked around a bit on Harmony Central, and I saw a couple of guys saying they used either that setup or the same cab with an SVT Classic, and none of them seemed to have...
