I have a mint '94 AH350SMX with matching 4x10" and 1x15" cabs. Best bass amp I have ever heard. Variable tube/solid state pre, 12 band eq, and the 2 band SMX compressor. All the original covers, and the awesome blacklight.

Never hook up more than one amp to a speaker cab! You can damage the any/all amps. I would check another amp on that cab.

WOW! That bass is turning out beautiful. And I do like the headstock. Does "work" better with seeing the logo and the "n" motif.

Check this out. Found this wading through AllParts. Babicz Full Contact bridge. Uses a cam for the saddle and string heighth adjustment. Instead of contact from two screws, the entire saddle assembly makes contact with the bridge assembly. [Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

Ok, I am the only one reccomending the Epi Thunderbird Pro IV. You have a good Fender P with a good sound. Hoping you have a PJ pickup configuration. I would like a Jazz bass, but for solid rock a Thunderbird complements a P bass nicely. <You didn't say I could have all three :p >

Unless Craigslist has changed, it is an utter pain kin the ass to find anything specific. On the eBay thing, I missed out on a Gibson Thunderbird starting at $790 - no one bid on it and thus the seller was able to cancel the auction.

Have to put in a plug for Trace Elliot. Models w/tube pre's. Amazing headroom and capable of much more peak power than the RMS wattage rating, simile to tube amps. And they don't distort at high volume levels as a tube power section will (unless that's what you're looking for).
