Going back to the info (...not...) on Clive Button's site...there's no mention of my AH130 SM, and I've noticed that there is very little info in general on that specific head. I know that there are a couple of others here that have a 130, but does anyone know overall if it's more uncommon than the other/bigger heads?

I think the 250, 350 and 600 SM/SMX were the photo-shoot models for the glossy catalog they put out in the early 90s. But I've seen quite a few 130 and 200 models in evidence, probably nearly as many as the higher-powered heads.

I have a mint '94 AH350SMX with matching 4x10" and 1x15" cabs. Best bass amp I have ever heard. Variable tube/solid state pre, 12 band eq, and the 2 band SMX compressor. All the original covers, and the awesome blacklight.

Question for the team. I get a strange static through my 1210 from time to time, which is independent of what the master volume is set at. In fact it does the same thing even if the amp is muted and doesn't matter if the tube circuit is engaged or not or if an instrument is plugged in. It is just a minor nuisance when playing at low volume and doesn't really affect playability otherwise. Seems like it lasts longer than "just warming up"

I seem to recall reading somewhere that this was a known issue with the earlier 1210s. If so what is the fix? Is it possible that once of the tubes is going out? I have not replaced them since I have owned the unit. Thanks in advance.

I had a similar issue with my 7215 SM combo a while back. IIRC, it was related to some bad/old solder connections in the vicinity of the input jack. I brought it to my local repair guy and I was able to get it fixed for about $100.

I scored this V4 a while back, and I must say that I love this amp!:D

I just recently got the chance to spend some quality time with it and I can say that I've been missing out. These amps are monsters, and I'd almost go as far as to say that it is making me wanna kick My SVT out of bed for a minute.

I gotta ask though, Is there anything else out there that sounds like these do?

Hey gang, any Trace cab wiring gurus? I picked up an old 1048 cab and something didn't sound right. I popped her open to find this....

After soldering the leads back, I checked the ohm rating and it read 10.7 Ohms for the whole cab.?? Should be 8 Ohms per the label on the cab. Something still does not sound right. It sounds like the lower left speaker is hitting harder than the rest. Any help is greatly appreciated.
