What do you think of this 410? Any reviews? I've always loved the TE gear I got a chance to hear (saw it for the first time at the Bass Centre in London back in '88).

I say go try it out, and if you like the sound of it, buy it! I have a 2x10 from about the same era and it sounds really good, although maybe a little bass shy. But depending on what other gear you have and your tastes, you might find differently. My 2x10 matches up great with the 1x15 I have as well.

As long as we're fan-boi pimping for BAS...I ordered a set of EQ slider tips (the little white thingies) and two knobs (EQ level and EQ balance) for my AH130 last Saturday. They were in my hands on Tuesday. Normal shipping, not expedited.

I'm a newly-minted TE fan. Just scored a 1994 AH250, and I am really knocked out by the tone. These 250 watts are loud, beefy, and grindy-sweet.

Yeah I've recently just started using it again. I've been using my Orange AD 200B for the last couple of years. The V8 can easily fill its shoes though. I'm a big fan of the brittish tube sound. I love my Ampegs but I alway feel mor comfortable with the Orange and Trace.

I should think that by tapping the Send jack and patching it to a power amp, sure- you're using the combo as a preamp. It's a bulky thing for just a preamp- but you can always use the combo for small gigs...

I have that same amp as a standalone...there's a 1/4 line-out jack on the front panel that I'm pretty sure bypasses the power amp section.
