Anderbass! this is genius! I've just joined the boomerang club (sold my SVT-II, then 12 years later got another) - and whaddya know? same issue i had that took a long time to track down before! SO, would this mean the issue is in the preamp circuit? Likely i'll need help tracking that voodoo down!

hey man! i bought one back in October and sold my 4003MG - so extremely happy with this bass. Much more "precision" sounding than your average 4001/4003 - much more cut. they are great guys to work with. When my II had a weird "protect light" demon, they were able to track down original SLME service notes on the SVTII and fix the problem that kept reoccurring. Now, i'll return to kicking myself for selling it.

might try Carlos at LS Electronics in STL...he'd be the only person who would have OEM NOS rack handles for the II....

Hey Guys! just got one of these, unloaded and some busted speakers that may have come in it. Anyone know how to wire this one up? should be fairly straight forward? -aaron

Hey guys... I too have a PB800 with an issue... intermittent - i'll get a pop thru the speakers - a little bit of DC crackling if you will - it only lasts about 3 seconds, tops - then goes away - comes back maybe every 10, 20, 30 minutes - no pattern to it. I called tech support and i did...
