Thank you. I usually stick with my D’addario nickel wounds as they aren’t too expensive and seem to last well (apart from the E, but on these basses it seems dead even right after a string change). Thank you. What basses have you used those strings on?

Hey all, hoping someone can help me out here I have a couple of short scales, (a Warwick and a Frankenbass) which are really great instruments apart from one thing - the E string on both always sounds dead. I use light gauge 40-95 - could the 95 be the problem? I’m thinking of ordering a 100...

Don’t think I’ve posted my bass in here before. Hope it’s welcome even though it’s not a German made Wick. It’s a rockbass short scale, the newer one with the wenge fretboard. Amazing quality bass, I’d say it easily rivals the 2008 Corvette $$ I had.

Rotosound are reasonably good value, at least in the UK, don’t know about elsewhere. I always use D’addario, they might not be super cheap but not expensive, and great value

The only things stock on mine are the body, pickguard, and control plate :D
