So I love my Ampeg micro CL but 100 watts just isn't enough. After about three weeks of trying and testing every amp I could find I decided to go with another Ampeg. I have a new Portaflex PF 500 with the 15" cab on it's way. Feeling pretty excited right now!

Got my order from Jason. Had a set of XL Nickels on my 5 string Cirrus. Loved for of them but the b-string wasn't right. Jason fixed me right up with a .125 instead of the .130 that was in the set. Also got some rubber Wedgie picks and a Levi's strap. Great stuff and made it here in no time...

I love my Peavey Cirrus 5 BXP. it was $250. Love the sound, plays great, and haven't had a single bit if trouble out of it. It is a 35" scale though but it's not a problem.

thanks for the replies. I'll try it out. I often find myselfaway from Technology (generally by choice and love reading) so it seems like a good fit. Thanks also for the links. I've saved them and will be using them some too.

Sweet bass, if I hadn't just gotten a Foundation I would be all over it.

I love my Peavey Cirrus BXP, but love my old Foundation even more. As long as it sounds good and plays easy I'm happy.

Not sure why? I would guess it just has lots of really dense wood, I just know it's heavier than any bass I've ever picked up or played

Got a great deal on a Peavey Foundation. Already had a 5-string Cirrus BXP but wanted a passive 4-string. This thing is wonderful. The four string neck is a nice change from the width of the 5-string. Beautifully mellow tones and tons of sustain. Just have to remember that there is no B...
