    Amazing Photos

Waiting for the crew to get me for work this morning about quarter to 5, most beautiful sunrise I've seen in my short 22 years so far. I took about 20 pictures of the progression but this is #2. Gonna paint them at some point :D

    What should I do?Help guys

Gonna have to agree with Sparky here, I'm a righty but skate goofy and box south paw too. Tried getting into guitar my whole life(dad's a 20 something year player) but only last year I realized I can't play righty guitar or bass, flipped one over, and boom! Ordered my first instrument, a lefty...

Would my amp be loud enough for a gig?

Thanks again folks, haha I know what cabs are. My old man has a Hughes and Kettner tube(can't remember wattage) and a marshall cab and hearing that thing is ape****.. I'll be looking around for a 500w tube head and then a cab to match when I get to that point. So by "mud" do you mean that weird...

Would my amp be loud enough for a gig?

"of course I do!" haha Reminds me of a Top Gear reference "what does basically any car need?" Jeremy Clarkson always said "MORE POWER!" :roflmao: nice rig btw, I bet you've gotta be careful not to shake your house apart with that thing!

Would my amp be loud enough for a gig?

My dad is a classic metal head, although he's moved onto many different genres since around '90. He's an amazing guitarist playing since '84. Never asked him why Michael Anthony was the name he chose for me but I did ask who he was awhile back. So it seems I may have been destined to be a bassist :D

Would my amp be loud enough for a gig?

Ha this thread has been more entertaining than I thought it would. I'm named after MA, had no clue who he was til I was like 17  also /w all the suggestions, got one more silly *** question. How much power do I need to cause an earthquake?? Anyone curious about that? thanks...

Would my amp be loud enough for a gig?

Not sure if this should be in live sound or here but I was wondering if my rumble 25 would be loud enough to cut through a mix. I don't have any gigs atm (haven't had one yet or even played with a real drummer) but just out of curiosity. Also have to note that I haven't had the volume up past...

    Bass Transcriptions

That is very impressive man. So it takes time, but is it most effective(if I was to, say, sit and listen with my bass) to go through and just write note for now what you hear while rewinding parts and put it all together? Or is there a better process? Sorry I play 20 questions but I'm relatively...

    Bass Transcriptions

Thank you so much for this, I couldn't even find who this was performed by! Now I have some more work to do :D do you transcribe the stuff yourself if you can't find it online?

Things that make me feel like an idiot.

Thanks! Haven't dug into the Jackson 5 yet but I dig the tunes of theirs I've heard(pretty much radio stuff I 'spose..). I've been buried in jazz and my timing/internal clock. Speaking of which, I feel like an idiot when I'm carrying a groove and melody playing alone w/ drum machine efx pedal...

Things that make me feel like an idiot.

What is the song these are from? Doesn't ring any bells but I'm 22.. But those lyrics have me wanting to check out wherever they are from.

    Ibanez shred guitar

First off, wow that is nice! I spent an hour today on Ibanez.com because of this thread, and that model caught my eye instantly. Also what is a tremel-no?

Who else here just plays, rather than "practices"?

22 here. I like playing and learning new songs because it bleeds into my style more and more. I play to random stuff like others, although does anyone else dig playing to all the short songs in those lofi/hip hop and jazz compilations? It's fun when the beat and ambience drifts off and away...

    Bass Transcriptions

Hi, how's it going? Could you possibly take a suggestion? It sounds relatively simple but I just can't hear it quite well enough to figure it out. The song is roundhouse rock from the fallout NV soundtrack, and I know having a line like that to use all over the fretboard would be extremely...
