Hoping for a more positive response. My 1982 markiv amp does 2 ohm while tnt 130 manual is copy writhed 1983. Op to buy locally.

earlier than then 80's i have no experience. i got my peaves super cheap from craiglist but they are solid state-- no tubes. markiv from 82; slightly damaged combo 300 year 92 for like 25 bucks. Picked it up mainly for 15 black widow.. but its head seems louder than mkiv.

I assume you speak of the power amp section, 400BH. Look for Mark iv; Most Peavey's during 80-90 have the same power section. I think it is in the Combo 300 as well. Both of mine are indestructible; not for sale. Good luck.

5's rule 4's drool. I A/B'd them on same model = more wood in neck = deeper tone. Also, tighter string spacing and the ability to reach across the neck, don't have to go up and down the neck. Hint: the middle string is the A string. It is not that difficult; better tone. Give one a try, 4...
