I've a joke about a kebab shop that would earn me a ban hammer if I told it here.
What I recall of Boston Garden is the spinach side made it worth the purchase. Up there that-away when on site in New Bedford, roadside fried clams hit the spot.Big fish auction in New Bedford, but it's not open for public viewing. There is a whaling museum, and lots and lots of Portuguese food.
When in Munich I ordered calf's heart, the waitress asked me if I was certain I knew what I was ordering. A courtesy. Served in drawn butter, if I recall correctly. What I miss is black pudding for breakfast. What it seems to me is I eat differently in different places. In Milan, a chocolate croissant and double cappuccino makes a perfect start before I take my first espresso when I arrive at the office.
You mean the public gardens? Boston Garden was an old arena that had the worst sound for concerts probably in New England. The anticuchos here (beef hearts) are smoked and served with potatoes, very tasty. I used to drive through New Bedford quite a bit on the way to Horseneck Beach, never really stopped though. Sea food is really expensive in MA, you wouldn't think it was but it is. One of the things I like here in Lima is it's cheap, every kind you can think of and readily available in most restaurants and markets whether outside or supermarkets.

What my pre-coffee mind meant was Boston Market ....
All seafood except conch is flown into Bermuda, and everything — but particularly seafood — is expensive. Yeah they sent me to work there too.
Hey Charlie! I have five "silverfin" Peaveys in my shed. They all still play well and sound good, but the weight for me is unacceptable nowadays. I still love that old Peavey logo! Never owned a Lego set BTW...As someone who was almost solely supported by fixing broken Peavey gear for a few years, that notion always cracks me up. But of course the odds are that whoever sells the most Legos will have a few broken ones along the way.

It's a classic look and sound Will. And boat anchors never go out of style, but eventually they do tend to stay in their home port.

Hmm. Maybe I should reinstate my Class A.Haven't had time to put much of anything up here, lately. It's been constant back-to-back runs, and 80~85hr workweeks since the Feds lifted our "Hours of Service" regulations for Covid relief products. Thought the pace would be slowing some now, but with the recent foolishness in the streets, I'm sure our building products divisions will be pumping out units like there's no tomorrow.
Not to complain, though. I'm one of the fortunate few whose income has actually increased, due to this plague. I see the suffering of many not so lucky.
Sometimes job security is a double edged sword, but it doesn't cleave near as sharply as being cut off from your profession.

Yeah, I have some gear earmarked for that too Will. At the very least things need to go to one in one out at this point, but one to two would actually be a lot better!
We have our first gig since 3/14/20 this Saturday night. Can someone remind me what those 4 steel cables on my, er...(what's this thing called? Bass? OK)are s'posed to do. They make noise? How? Amplifier? Wuzzat?

Brain farts in the middle of life aren't good either. Got plenty of practice, though.

The hairdresser I see rang today. The salon is open again and they're contacting all their clients. I booked an appointment a week from Thursday. No idea if it's masks for all, but I expect so. My coffee shop, on the other hand, has been mail-order only since March. I see they'll bring an order curbside two days a week if I call ahead. They've started a virtual tip jar at their site, too. No idea when that started.
It's nice to see places reopening. On Sunday I passed by an A&W and noticed that they are open again for takeout. I thought, Oh Boy, onion rings! Went to the takeout window to place an order. The kid inside says, you can only place an order and pay via their A&W app. So I sayz, I don't have my phone, can't I just tell you what I want and pay with my tap card? Apparently not, there's a new commandment. Thou shalt use thy app.
Of course, now I grump at them and won't use their app out of spite. I wish that they had a virtual tip jar, I'd leave a few choice words.

Seems everybody has an app, even places that don't need one. Like your A&W. If I knew how, I'd write an app that people (for some definitions of "people") would have to use just to talk to me. There! See how YOU like it!
That’s not a bad idea, a do not fly zone for comments. You can hire Arnold to market it.
Is there a difference? Still saving for the apocalypse, might be cool gas wise just getting my new solder sucker. And my fret erasers... I am a boring old man. I hit 50 a few days ago; do I need a new number?
