Spent the day driving through the countryside. First thing that I noticed is very few properties and farms for sale. Normally there are many. Places of interest that were on the market late last year are all no longer for sale. I doubt that they sold. Looks like nobody wants visits due to covid.

Being in Walmart was odd. People kept asking for permission to pass by in the aisle. Never saw so much politeness. It was nice. Unlike the protest we drove by close to home. I went to Walmart to buy a collapsible hose, nothing else. Got distracted buying groceries and forgot all about the hose. I still can’t find bread flower anywhere. Lots of all purpose flour, but no bread flour to be had. With so many restaurants closed, people are still baking cakes and cookies at home.

Noticed on my evening walk with Odin a neighbor's put her house up for sale. I've watched her plow all manner of coin into landscaping for at least a year. Today I see she's seeded grass on that strip between the sidewalk and the street that's either mud or dust, depending on the weather. I do know there are several large mushroom colonies on her property. I wondered if the new grass will interrupt the mushroom life cycle, but I doubt it.

Sounds like something any dog would want at home. Dogs keep time with their tail wag.

I see mushrooms growing in furtile wet decaying material such a tree stumps and bark. Mushrooms help break down the organic material, the nutrients are good for the lawn.

They grow mushrooms in manure. So too much organic material in the soil promotes mushroom growth. If animals like to use her lawn as a place to leave a deposit, mushrooms will follow to help clean up.

Normally you can tell whether the stage is level if the drummer is drooling from both sides of the mouth. Might be hard to do in a ball pit.

Greetings grumps! Hope all is well as it can be. Anyone with info/experience with the Peavey TNT 130 (the 80's Peavey fetish lives on)? Website manual gives 4ohm at 130 watts;capable of 2 ohms?

My guess would be that that amp is not capable of 2Ω, but what the heck, give it a shot and let us know how it goes.

Hoping for a more positive response. My 1982 markiv amp does 2 ohm while tnt 130 manual is copy writhed 1983. Op to buy locally.

It’s a good workhorse amp. The manual says 2 ohm is not recommended. Their ratings are conservative, 130W into 4 ohms with DDT, 140W into 4 ohms at clipping without the compression turned on.

For more power, I use a Peavey DECA power amp for bass with an added preamp. They can be found at low prices. Weigh a lot though.

If you were the maître d' of a fancy restaurant, when he walks in, would you ask Lee Sklar if he was wearing a tie? Of course, no jacket required, right?

Moens parent company is Masco. Pretty sure they control Chicago now too. Here's the kicker. They also own Delta. Not sure what else they own. Masco used to make the drain assemblys for both Moen and Delta. I believe they bought out Moen first and Delta soon after. Pretty sure that Chicago was always in some way associated with Moen. I remember several years ago installing some Chicago faucets and received a box that was incomplete. The replacement parts ordered were clearly marked Moen. The big three in the construction industry these days are Moen , Kohler (a very close second in my eyes but kind of pricey) and Delta running a distant third. All three make pretty good quality products and my ratings are based more on ease of installation than any thing else.

Gave my ~1981 Peavey TNT 100 to a friend's son for free with a Pay It Forward understanding (that I have every reason to believe he honours). Played mine hard at 4 ohms with a homebuilt 15 cab I bought from a friend. That cab weighed more than the Peavey! There are moments when I imagine it would be fun to play through that Peavey again. Then I remember all what goes with it in a gig ... I had to be loud to keep up with my band! Oh my aching back ....
