I am SO kicking myself in the head for not ordering two of these when I bought mine. Need vs Want and all that but...Holy crap this must sound absolutely killer.

The #1 rue is : Never tort. In this particular case my vote goes to clear or no pickguard.

When it comes to Duke's cabs, my only regret is that I bought only one. Do I really need another, volume-wise? Not at all. Still kicking myself though. I hope I get to order the second half of an absolute rig of doom eventually.

I truly believe the original Bass Block and Duke's cabs are a perfect match. That sweet spot for me is always within 1 or 2 clicks either way from flat on the mids and bass knobs. Easiest setup to dial in for any room.

My approach is a dumb one, but it works for me: P-bass with a flat EQ through an amp/cab setup that has no inherent scoop built in (Quilter Bass Block/AudioKinesis Changeling).

I've never heard of Halo (except the video game), and it's unclear what this bass is trying to be. That hardware looks out of place on this body, and gold? Hard pass for me, but it's your money so have at it if that's what you fancy.
