They'll make whatever you want, but you'll need to provide dimensions if it's not listed on their site.

Every TC cab version I've tried had the hotter tweeter setting at the "switch up" position, FWIW.

I had my “little” TC 112, v1 up for sale here for over a month until about 2 weeks ago. With Lecover, it was only $600 and I heard crickets. I I came to my senses and have pulled the ad.

I use a 115 Fearless outside and 1 or 2 GR carbon 112 for portable practice, monitor, but the TC fits in a slot for high quality, inside work. Sounds good with any of my amps or basses. Pretty hi-fi, meaning neutral, but takes EQ well, if needed.

Apologies in advance for this rather long and sentimental post, but I’ve reached the end of my gigging career and some thanks are in order.

I haven’t played a show in almost a year because of my bandmate of 40 years’ cancer diagnosis, along with my own progressive hearing loss. It’s come to a point where I have to hang up my spurs. Sucks getting old but it was an unbelievably fun run.

I’ll be selling most of my gear and just posted my Audiokinesis Hathor 212 in the TB Classifieds. It has been my go-to cab since I bought it from Duke in 2017.

On that note: Duke, I want to thank you for creating these wonderful cabs and spending countless hours on this forum answering questions and supporting the Audiokinesis community. Your passion, knowledge, and overall just-great-guyness is really extraordinary.

And thanks to you fellow members of this AK forum – I never posted much but learned a lot just reading what you all had to say. You are an uncommonly amiable and knowledgable group.

I don’t think I’ve ever previously owned a piece of gear where I’ve felt like I have a personal connection to the builder and a fellow group of owners, and I feel lucky to have been a part of this AK community. Take care, all.

Hoping you (and perhaps a hearing doc)can figure out your path in preserving the hearing you have!

I've got one H1203 (which is awesome!). Your H212 must be awesomer! :)

Yep, it's hard to quit but I was lucky to play tons of shows and had WAY more than my share of fun.

My little Audiokinesis Hathor 1544 totally kicked ass at this weekends out of state road gig at the Cinema bar in cali! (Pic of that gig using my Hathor 1544/Mesa WD-800 rig below)

As far as I know, my 1544 was the very 1st Hathor cab (the prototype) that Duke ever built. I was one of the Beta testers for this cab back in the summer of 2012.

After I'd successfully gigged this cab serveral times back then and gave Duke my favorable reviews, Duke informed me "The next person in line to check out this cab is Tom Bowlus of Bass Gear Magazine". Duke asked me to ship this cab off to Tom Bowlus, but I just couldn't part with it... So i asked Duke If I could buy it? Duke quickly agreed to sell it to me for just the component cost of it's build ($400) that I happily paid. As I recall, Duke then made a second Prototype Hathor 1544 that he sent off to Tom Bowlus for review.

A year or so later, I contacted Duke asking if there was any way to Increase the low-end responce of my Hathor 1544. Duke responded yes and immediately mailed me a longer port tube free of charge, and that longer port tube definitely helped.

Then, serveral years later: I decided I wanted even more low-end response. Once again, Duke came through with a mod that involved simply using a hole saw to drill an opening between the lower and upper chambers of the cab. I cant recall the exact size of the hole saw (i think 2") but It definitely helped increase low-end resulting in a more balanced responce for my bass, effects and playing style.

So what I'm really trying to say here is: DUKE IS AWESOME!!!

Hey ya'll, asking a question for the long time owners of Thunderchildren...
I've got a TC 112, bought used off here last year, an earlier version. It's been great. Until a gig last night. I could hear this weird crackly distortion behind the tails of notes, or soft notes. Anything loud came thru, but anything below a certain volume got crispy, and below that got cut out, like a gate.
Has ANYONE heard of anything like this? feel free to PM me if you'd rather be discrete, I'm not trying drag Audiokinesis or anything. Stuff happens. Just gotta figure this out before the next gig.
I've written to Duke waiting to hear back, and my audio guru here in town. Might have to open the whole thing up to see what I can see.

That cab would be my 1st pick if I could buy any of Duke's cabs!
