Please talk me out of ordering this

Hey all. I have no need of a new bass. I don’t really want one either. But ever since I designed one from Halo on a whim I can’t stop thinking about it. It’s the most perfect bass ever, and I want to have it exist in the world. But it is PRICEY- and while that’s not really a problem these days- I’m having trouble justifying it.

I think it should exist, but I’ve never seen anything like it. Am I compelled to buy it into being? Or is there something that exists the could prevent that?

A lot of people like Jazz lookalikes.

I wouldn’t buy that particular bass, but I like it.

Definitely a Precsion body and I'm not even sure about that pickup placement.

This is a Frankenstein. The only legit way is to assemble it from parts. Also more cost effective. Unless you’re very particular about design choices (eg, is it neck thru), this is a modded P bass.

You won't regret it unless you try to sell it later. That being said, if you love that design and can afford it, go for it! I for one am kinda into the idea of a neck-through P-bass with JJ pups and a whammy.

I've never heard of someone who bought a bass with a wiggle stick that bought another one. And it will reduce your resale mightily.

In general, 'very personal' custom builds tend to be hard to resell, and this one fits that category.

I've never heard of Halo (except the video game), and it's unclear what this bass is trying to be. That hardware looks out of place on this body, and gold? Hard pass for me, but it's your money so have at it if that's what you fancy.
