Please talk me out of ordering this

You have a good sense of design.
I've never seen a bass where gold parts looked more correct.
Many people said ditch the whammy and they are probably right.
If I were ordering an expensive custom I'd probably talk to Serek, because the Serek I had on loan for a while was so, so good.
I don't know this builder, but if you do, then go for it!

There's nothing about that bass that would make me want to spend even A thousand dollars on it, let alone a FEW thousand. And a whammy bar on a bass is dumb as hell.

It's a Precision body and with that pickup placement it will sound nothing like a Jazz.
