I am ready to purchase the glockenklang preamp but i keep postponing it because i am worried of the 18khz as choosen frequency for the treble boost. Is it really a usable frequency?

One thing i like also about bartolini is their customer support. You should encount Delano's support to realise. Rude and always delayed.

Hello to everyone. Sorry to revive such an old thread but its 100% percent relevant to my question I have a bass that has installed a delano sonar preamp (3 band). When the preamp is on the sound is super. However when i pull the volume knob and disengage the preamp the sound is very dull, like...

Finally I went with Delano JC5 AL/M2 AS. Very different pickups compared to anything else I had tried so far (Bartolini, fralin, seymour Duncan, DiMarzio, G&L etc). Not better or worse... just different. Here are two test sound samples. forever both pickups 2 comp.mp3 test delano.flac

Less warm..... than emg???? That seems like a problem cause the last that someone can say for emg is that they are warm....

Hello! Do you still have the same thoughts about the JC5HE/M2 or was just the first impression? I am about to buy the same set but some people say these pickups are thin sounding or very bright....

Barts are made of ABS plastic. I had this as an official answer from bartolini some years ago.

And it's true. Pedulla 's Bartolini were custom made for mr Pedulla
