as far as i can tell, dunlop has stopped making the adamas graphite picks... does anyone know if that's right or wrong? anyone know other brands of graphite picks and where to get them??? all advice welcomed... thanks.

p.s. --- i know graphite picks aren't technically an effect, BUT - i consider any form of variation on how you attack the strings an effect as it changes the sound.... :)

thanks, crapusername. that's my gut feeling is i'll still need to stick with m oc-2... but the other features look great! was hoping to save space on the board by using it as an octave replacement with all the bells and whistles. i'll try it and see. we might be the only 2 crazy enough here...

ehx steel leather could help you out a bit here. i don't use it b/c it can be a bit too clangy and bring out more funk than suits the music i play, but try it out. sounds a bit errrrr on it's own, but in the mix it can help you cut through on the fills and melodic moving lines.

the best is to stand there for hours on end playing your lines constantly changing the order of the pedals till you find the order that suits your sound the best. that said, get a tuner that can kill the sound instantly and put that first. the rest is up to you... but filters and...

i use a boss TU3. it's been great so far! and i tune probably 15-20 times in a show with it, constantly tweaking and detuning and then bringing the strings back in tune - it's my best friend on the board. i really like the flashing lights closing in the centre. never had a problem with noise...
