Flux that's great you are making physical progress. It is amazing how detrimental it is to "take it easy" and limit your range of motion when things hurt. Frozen shoulders are life changing, in the totally non-positive direction. Keep up the good work and the exercises. Glad to hear, too...

By clean I mean transparent to the amp. Some pedals, probably cheaper ones, give a touch of personality to the tone just by them being in chain. It's not theoretical as I had one some time ago that did that. I can't even remember what it was but it was cheap. So if the loops are all true...
